Chris Mundigler, Archaeologist UVIC
January 13
Chris is an archaeologist and anthropologist at UVIC. He will talk to us about digital archaeology and the impacts it is having. Digital Archaeology is the study of the archaeological past using technology such as GIS, photography, laser scanners and most recently 3D printing to replicate reality and to preserve a record so that a site or artifact can be more efficiently and widely studied.
