Black Dragon (Technical Dive)

The Black Dragon was an old Chinese fishing vessel 128 feet in length, that was involved in the smuggling of illegal immigrants to the West Coast at the end of 1999. It was being towed from Barkley Sound to Ladysmith on December 9, 2003, for disposal when it sank off Johnstone reef in Haro Strait. The charted depth is 46 meters (150 feet). We will dive the wreck to record its condition and collect some photos.

Limit 8 technical divers. Charter Cost $100 per person.
